A Song Some Radio Stations Are Banning;
The song you are about to listen to is from a Las Vegas Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate, resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered "politically incorrect." Consequently, the song was never released to the public. So, America , see what you think.. If this offering speaks to your heart and you feel you want to share it with friends and loved ones, please do. THIS IS GREAT - PLEASE LISTEN TO IT AND THEN PLEASE KEEP IT GOING!

It's not 'banned', some stations just refuse to play it. You and anyone who likes can listen to it anytime you want to as loud as you want in your earbuds, car or home. They actually 'do' have a 'right' the SAME right that lets Diamond Rio sing this song and lets you download or buy it and even listen to it on your iPod. It's the same set of rights that should be honored to allow Gay and Lesbian couples to marry and adopt children like Heteros. Same rights that make it okay for you to express your thoughts an opinions and me to express mine. And many, many other examples that for whatever reason, 'Christian' America chooses to vilify. But; What if this song offends ME? I do not believe in God and I am a Proud American. I think all this 'god' stuff should be left out of our government because it's divisive and inaccurate. I am not a 'bad' person or 'bad' American for NOT being Christian and I don't want anyone to assume I am a Christian because a song like this and some people think you MUST be a Christian to be a 'good' and 'true' American.
Anyone who wants to can listen to this song as often as they like. MANY great songs don't get ANY radio play, nor do they get created publicity about it like this song does and they get played thousands of times a day. I respect a radio stations decision not to play this just as much as I UNDERSTAND and respect their decision NOT to play the unedited version of 'Still' by the Geto Boys. I consider that an amazing song and a work of art, but I could care less if anyone else likes it.
It seems like people are outraged at something if Glen Beck or Rush TELLS them to be, if it fits this rigid, Christian, RESTRICTIVE and CONTROLLING agenda. That is not freedom. If banning this song is wrong, then banning abortion is wrong. It's an individuals choice to listen to the song, its an individuals choice to end a pregnancy. That is extreme, but it gets my point across. Say 'It's not the same!' all you want...when its all boiled down to the bottom of the pan, it is the same form of freedom.
